Let's see some gems

Just about every capital city in Eastern Europe seems to have been called "the Paris of the East" at some point. Unlike most other cities in the region, however, Budapest doesn't need the comparison. The city is practically a living museum of some of the most prominent eras of architectural history in Europe. The buildings have been generally well preserved or well restored through the years, and as a result, the city is a delight for any architecture buffs out here.
